Social
Opportunities for Life is our mission statement, and it’s pivotal to us that this also equates to Opportunities for All.
That means making our own organisation as inclusive as possible, as well as supporting every individual in their search for a job and career. We believe that the more people are free to pursue their passions, the better the future becomes. Closing the opportunity gap is a key factor for this, and we have matched countless people and businesses in ways that have not been done before and will continue to do so.
We have a variety of initiatives and partnerships to support social value, including:
Women in business
We strive to be diverse, inclusive, and equally representative of the societies we serve at every level of our organisation. To support our aims we have developed family friendly policies, promote flexibility and have a developing female leaders mentoring programme. We also voluntarily publish our Gender Pay Gap Report annually and promote pay parity through our annual action plan.
Learning on the Job
‘Earn and Learn’ is the ethos of The 5% Club, and we’re proud to be a member – demonstrating our dedication and commitment to employing colleagues in apprentice and graduate positions. We are proud to be recognised as an employer who achieved this target – 5% of our organisation is made up of apprentices.
We’re always looking for people to join us in these formal training roles, so click here to check out the latest jobs.
Mental Health Matters
We fully recognise the importance of Mental Health.
Our People and Culture team are on hand with a range of resources and support for our colleagues. This includes our wellness action plans, access to BUPA and Help@Hand, and we provide managers training to support colleagues.
Our Commitment to Disability Inclusion
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all individuals, including those with disabilities, have the opportunities to flourish and achieve their full potential.
Our commitment extends beyond compliance and regulations; we aim to foster a culture where people feel they belong, are respected, and where everyone’s unique talents and perspectives are valued. We believe this strengthens our business as a whole, driving innovation and creativity.
Through our work and understanding of the importance of accessibility and equal opportunities, we are proud to have been recognised as a Disability Confident Employer.
